Thanks for sharing Roywave

Besides my clots, I would actually have a slim chance of heart attack otherwise. I really started changing my diet for heart health. Ive always had good chloresterol, but I used to eat really salty foods. Now I am on a very low sodium diet. Sodium can cause fluid retention around your heart.

I understand why your so stressed. I hope they find the reason for why you are still forming clots. I had two heart attacks and stents put in. I take the plavix and aspirin to thin the blood. I have a brother that takes the cumadin. I was told by a physician, that the cumadin is more productive as a blood thinner, but you have to be very careful when taking it.

Thanks for sharing the facts what smoking does.

My doctor has told me that I have to quit smoking (which I know this)
But he never went into details on how the smoking constricts the arteries and making them smaller.

Actually all he told me is that he was surprised that I had a heart attack at my age and the one thing that was against me, was the smoking.
My chloresterol was good.
I have low blood pressure.
weight is good
attacks did hardly any damage
All he they could come up with, is that it must be hereditary. dunno

Did you quit smoking?

I used to smoke too
Smoking can also be a huge factor for blood clots and blood thickening. Smoking + birthcontrol = Instant heart problems, I can't take anymore hormonal birth control anymore because of the huge risk for clots, heart attack & stroke.
