IrishLass1Metairie, USA71 Threads 1,998 PostsYou ever have one of those days where nothing goes right for you. Well even Santa has those kind of days. It happened one Christmas Eve a long time ago. Santa was his usual self, pre-occupied with the thought of delivering Christmas presents on time. Mrs. Claus was baking her famous Christmas cookies and she left them in too long they was burnt to a crisp, the elves went on strike because they felt they were not getting paid for the overtime they putting in making toys, and the reindeer were drunk, so during the practice run they crash the sled into a tree breaking one of the runners. All Santa could think of was how he is going to deliver millions of presents all over the world in just a few hours. Each time he thought of it, he got more anger. Here he was, his raindeer was drunk, his elves were on strike, and the Little Angel he sent out for a Christmas treee never got back in time for him to decorate it. Just then the Little Angel kicked the door in and said, "Yo, Big Fat Christmas Elf, where do you want me to stick the Christmas Tree this year?" Santa then gave us a new tradition of perching the Angel atop the Christmas tree. Merry Christmas to one and all!
