i enjoy both indian and chinese dishes. what kind of chinese?..and what kind of indian cuisine were you thinking of? i would vote for the one with a simple menu, and quality food.
i've been spoiled, growing up in Vancouver. we really do have a lot of great restaurants here representing many, many kinds of foods. i like chinese food (cantonese for dim sum, mandarin for mu-shu pork or peking duck, and szechuan for hot and spicy). but i like thai, indian, japanese, and mexican just as much. there are many other choices here as well as Vancouver is home to many diverse cultures.
as well...contrary to popular belief...one can find very authentic examples of most cuisines here..some are well off the tourist beaten track, and you just need to know what to ask for.
