Always Nocturnal

Nocturnal, my dear,
always nocturnal..

These thoughts in twilight dare
to roam the fields of midnight new
searching for those moments
in the night of our rapt tenderness
when we hold in all the love
and breathe it into our memories.
The night...our one rose of peace.
The sweet essence of its beauty
flowing into our days.
As we grow hour by hour
closer to our eternity,
to the embrace of angel wings.

We reach for each other
in the cocoon of tangled sheets
viewing each other with the eyes
of knowing, with the vision
of our fragility. Remembering
that love goes on and on. Even though
we may be in a lasting sleep,
our spirits soar; then make the leap.

And so it's true...
we are nocturnal, my dear,
always nocturnal.

seasons come and seasons go
the word of life we have to know
a short time we have to grow in grace and knowledge
we live in a sea of evil but god is the island of hope

Seasons come and seasons go,
the word of life we should know.
A short time for God's grace above
to make our lives a lighthouse for God's love.

The mark of a true Christian is that we walk in God's maranatha love and show the world by our example how God wants us to live. What distinguishes a Christian from the rest of the unbelieving world, except that the love of God dwells in us. The word is not a hammer. It is a guide book for the right way to connect to God. So, love goes on and grows if we really know God and walk in His ways.

Love does go on

In our hearts in our souls and in our minds
we are treated to memories of things left behind
we have sense of longing of things that can not be
we have our desire of things that should have been
we have our desire of things we can not comprehend

to leave a taste of honey in our mouths is sweet
but there are times it can burn us down to the souls of our feet
True love never dies or fades away, it only needs that sweet word to see the light of day.
to hide whats burried in our soul will keep you from all that you consider to be gold.
the time has come to say good bye we really did give it a try
