Check with your local telephone company, they sometimes provide internet service for a reasonable price. That's who I have mine through and I'm pleased with the service

I know in this area we have blueyonder which is cheap but it depends on what providers there are there.

it is with a telephone company i havnt got a pc what i use isbasically a digital tv that allows you to use the net. NTL are stopping their internet service so the only way i can ever get back on isby bying a pc, and i doubt ill have enough for one for a while.

NTL are part of the same company as blueyonder if i'm not mistaken.You can always get a pc by paying a little off each week but still its a lot of money.No internet cafes near by?

thanks nuala but the closest internet cafe and libary are 7 miles away and i cant get back and forth all the time it would cost me between $4 and $6 every journey and untill i get back in work i cant afford that.
i have one of my freinds off here's phone number so i can still speak to her and she can let youknow whats going on.
im just fed up and extreamly gutted cos ive just found debs and it seems as soon as somthing finally goes right somthing happens to mess it up.

Jason...having no job is no fun i can tell you,it gets very boring in the daytime,sometimes it feels like too much of an uphill task to get motivated about job hunting.
Do you have any friends near by who can let you have some access to the internet just once in a while?
Hang in best you can,keep yourself motivated,as hard as it is sometimes,something will come eventually.

well i didnt expect someting to happen so quick, my sis has ofered to give us her old one that she used for work things,
all we have to do now is get it connected to the net that should take up to two weeks so i wont be gone for long.

hopefully they wont disconnect the service before its all sorted but you never know with ntl.
