Knight of Jewels


i will hold thine heart as if it gold,
as the sun rises and sets, untouched;
so therefore will be my love.
to the darkest depths,
anyman nor demon,
nor race of any shall pluck thee from my side.
to the depths of hell, and to the souls lost
my love shall hold strong.
keep this word close to you,
for the time may come when my word is challenged;
and tis then will it be a death fight.
hold my hand closely my lady,
for the demons of hell shall not thwart the power in me.
here!, take my heart and hold it close by thy bust,
lest the men of toture try and pry,
they should not take for i am here.
your eyes shall guide my steps, lest i be blinded.
your words, shall speak my love, lest i be silenced.
your lips, i have sealed with my kiss.
your soul, i have commanded to the God of heaven.
And so the battle begins, will i hold thy hand?
we shall see, take cover my lady,in the yonder.
hold my spirit close, lest it fall, run with the winds and rain.
keep your faith and beleive in my soul.
let the lightening from heaven sound with thunder
if i fall to the way.
speak proudly of this love,hold it dear.
these demons have not conquered both hearts,
they shall fall twisted in their own pity.
they should not take the emerald from your hands,
nor the jasper in your eyes.
nor will they seek the diamond i call your heart.
many of men will try to steal the gold from your smile,
and the silver in your tounge, not one will suceed.
i raise my sword to Heaven, i will swear to protect thee.
Demon! be gone! for this love you shall not wreck.
they fight continuous, but i hold my bleeding hands
tightly around the double edge sword.
the battle rages, not one will move me.
the gates of hell have opened and released their master.
my dear lady, pray now, for my strength is nearly gone.
one last battle cry!i must win!
no man can have her heart.
My lady, the blood from my wounds fall to the earth for you.
again i am nearly slain, i feel there is too many.
Pray! my lady pray!
a second blow drops me to my knees, as i fall i here a voice:
you have not failed, my love.
your army has arrived!
stand proud and tall my knight command them.
as the gates of hell where opened so shall they be closed!
men! take position and prepare for battle! thy queen needs thee.
the demons you face are your own fears, do not embrace them,
send them away with a prejudice and keep your queen.
let us battle to the end! CHARGE!
His wounds hold him down as he fights, demon by demon as their master waits.
falling by his way side, and conquered are the souls of many
he stands battle torn and with many lost soldiers.
face to face, with evil himself,
the battle for her heart is to the death as promised.
my lady?, as he speaks, a sword of flame is drawn.
without a whisper he is slain, to the ground he falls.
she comes to his side, his hands still grasping the sword;
his men look in dissarray upon their slain champion.
a tear from the heart of a queen falls to his breathless body.
defeated the men stand and wait as their queen sighs.
she stands and holds the emerald to her heart
swearing to die for it in vengence of his blood.
as she begins too grab the sword from his hand as he lied still;
with the kiss she gave and the heart she held,
he rose from the ashes of hell standing in his own blood.
in amazement the evil master looked, with confusion;
for he is only a mortal man.
With a touch of her cheek, and a whisping breath he looks at the enemy.
sword drawn and now fully rested, he slays the evil master.
he walks the dreams of many that hold hearts,
The Knight of Jewels will keep your love, even in death.
