Started as a Cub Scout and went into Boy Scouts, plus Order of the Arrow. When I turned 18, I became a Junior Assistant ScoutMaster. After I got out of the Coast Guard I got back into the Boy Scouts as an Assistant Scoutmaster. All added up, I have over 20 years in Scouting.
My father was involved in scouting with us as a Weblos Leader, Scoutmaster and even became District Commissioner.
Did we get our pins and badges which we had to work for. He cut us no slack

Yeah cub scout, boy scout, not anymore. Honestly my troop spent more time camping than earning merit badges. Those were some good times.
