Tomorrow's Faith
by Ruthann

If I run away tonight,
Will you come with me?
You give Love, Peace and Happiness,
But there is something I must see...

See if the horizon
Is where the world ends.
Does a heaven really exist
Or is it all pretend?

Why must there be shooting stars
If wishes don't come true?
If Love existed everywhere,
Would the sky still be blue?

What did you stand under
When you first fell in Love?
Was it raining,
Was it pouring,
Was it cold,
Or was it snowing?
Or did the sun smile down from above?

The sun,
It always smiles
On the world that it Loves.
But people live in such a hurry,
That one lifetime is never enough.

It's sad to know
That a heart just broke,
Somebody's tears
Are now their best friends,
Time is like the stitches;
The broken heart will mend,
'Cuz somewhere smiling like the sun,
A new Love has barely begun.

Time is only powerful
To those who have
The generosity,
To lend it
An open hand;
An invitation
To invade
The sacred Peace
Inside the heart
Where all is still.
Nothing ends as
Nothing starts and
Lovers meet as
Lovers part.
Skies are blue,
But they will blacken,
Broken hearts
Will always happen,
Romeos won't always get their Juliets.
Sometimes when the sun is smiling,
Sometimes when it's brightly shining,
Many hearts will always end up wet.

It doesn't make sense,
Why can't we all
Be in Love Together?
I just don't know,
Maybe listen to the radio,
To listen to tomorrow's weather...

'Cuz I have a feeling that the sun
Will be smiling down upon us all.
