The only animals that I abhor and whose head I would gladly crush, are certain types of humans, for humans have the gift of reason yet, will still hurt on purpose. But I would never, ever hurt an animal.
We all have masks, even when we are not wearing them. People can look at a face but they cannot really know what the mind behind it is thinking.
*Places his own head in a vice* Go on, give it a turn – I work a lot better under pressure.
