This is a message to all the woman out there who have been rejected by a man, that was going for looks instead of seeing you for who you are in the inside. You are worthy in God's eyes.
"Do not let your adornment be merely outward; arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel; rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God." (1 Pet. 3:3-4)
The world puts emphasize on one's outward appearance. Millions of dollars are spent each year on diet, exercise, clothing, and cosmetics, most of which are designed to improve one's outward appearance. Many of those things are superficial measures to make people appear more beautiful than they really are. It is empty and vain to beatify only the outward person. Prov. 31:30 says, "Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised." 1 Sam. 16:7 says, "...The Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."
The balance of sociology is very important. This thread is speaking only for women as if men are the only evil. Some women hand down death sentences to unsuspecting men. How about that, please? In any case, I like your advice, I wanna speak with you.
Hi Mindpower, I appreciate your comments. Also I do apologize for not including men that are rejected by women. To those men I say, you count in God's eyes as well. God sees you for who you are on the inside, your heart. Also Mindpower, I feel like you have a very beautiful soul. BettyG.

had to reply to this so many times people say you are so pretty or so beautiful ok so then if i am why am i alone actually i dont care what people think i look like i care what i look like
As a man I'll go ahead and say it; outward appearance is of some importance to me.But would the fact that I feel that way make any difference if I were a woman. It is of SOME degree of importance to everyone.
