i don't think that that is necessarily true really. alot of people, irish included, loved diana, maybe that is because they didn't think she was really a royal.but more of a peoples person.
anyways, me personally i don't give much thought to the royal family, it does annoy me though that the queen has 2 birthdays---- i mean why, she isn't any more special than the ordinary joe soap.
i used to play the bagpipes n i played in the royal albert hall and i have a lovely photo of the royal family- diana, her boys, n the queen mum, with me dad sitting behind them grinning like a pig
