What we have to adjust to and accept is that the mans role in society is dead.
We are no longer just the Man of the house.
We have expected roles to play in a joint partnership and they are exactly the same as the Womans in today's "society".
We have to do exactly the same as the female and more In and around the Home.
We have to be able to relate emotionally and physically and yet still be able to come across as a red Blooded Male.

A mans place might be dead to some people. But i on the other hand i am waiting patiently for a man, to actually be a man and take care of his woman, and i would willingly take care of him. I look at my grand parents and envy the love and respect they have for each other and only dream of some day having the same.And as for romance we can only dream. All good i have lots of paitence.
I agree with you i look at the way my parents & grand parents respect and love each other, the way my father brought me up was to love and respect woman the old fashioned way (old fashioned romantic) that's me,

But a relationship is a two way street. So we (Males) have to admit to ourselves that we let ourselves get treated that way.
The question is why. Did we allow it because we believed it was the quickest way to harmony or because we were to busy with our professional life to care about our personal life.
The answers aren't set and are personal. We (males) just have to be honest with ourselves to ensure we don't do the same thing next time. If we're not we will make the same mistakes.

i agree with you 100% the generation today have no respect i get the same comments about my 8 year old, the way i was brought up was in the old fashioned way of love & respect and respecting your partner and having that respect back which is a harmonious partnership (what could be better) ,and most of all respect your parents. my hat off to you for sticking to good morals.

It's people like us that make the world a better place, maybe someone should right a book on "how to bring up your children with morals,respect and manners" There are so many crappy books out there on how to raise your children(which i didn't have to read)but none about Manners, Respect or Morals.

my second girlfriend was suicidal and used to use it against me to get what she wonted, she cheated on me and took me for a lot of money, my 3rd girlfriend become violent as well and cheated on me she turned out alcoholic.
i must be doing something wrong to attract thees woman any ideas, i teat every one of them with respect and all i have and just get walked all over.

It's so not you. My first boyfriend used to beat me and cheated all the time, the second was an alcaholic and into mind games, and the father of my children was all of the above, so my dear your not alone. I think that those type of people are attracted to us because we are strong people and they are weak. See you and i servived it and became stronger (well i did if any man even spoke down to me i'd be gone) but them on the other hand are still weak as they had no lesson to learn.
