I wish there was. It seems like the women here either don't actually want to meet a man or they lie on their profile and aren't anything like what you expect.

That's what I say as well. I really think that there's just no place to go to and meet older people. Everything is set up for students, there are so many of them and they're easy to separate from their parents money.

Very true. The Hall of Fame has about the best mixed crowd that I've seen. Harry's is definitely the college scene as well as Northgate. And other than bars I have no idea where else people meet around here. I swear if you're not A & M affiliated somehow, way, shape or form you're just an outsider and don't belong. frustrated frustrated so irritating!!!

There is a bar called Yesterday, in the Luby's shopping center, where older people hang out. There are some younger people there but the age range goes from about 21 to 75.

I'm usually at Fast Eddies. I went to Yesterdays....just wasn't feelin it. It had kind of a snobby feel to the atmosphere.

I can see that, the natives there are like a family, they know each other and don't know what to do about a stranger, most of them anyway. After you've been there a few times everybody is your friend.

I've never been to Dast Eddies, what's it like? Royce

lrrh77: Thanks Michael. I haven't asked but if I had to guess I would be told to go to Houston or Austin for the nearest field.

Find a local hobby shop and ask... no need to guess. tongue

I like the tables, atmosphere and the pool specials. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights are cheap. It's ok...people still kinda stick together and dont' offer to shoot a game with me. But it's not bad.
