I know this is an old post and im a day late and a dime short by a month, but, I have written to a woman like that and she enjoyed it. But the fact of the matter is, It's not something (that i'd do) to do when introducing yourselves. I personally like to make sure that it's the one that I really want to be with. And this is where alot of guys that have gone through the game of life & dating get frustrated. It's pretty much just a fear of "If I write this, and let her know how committed I am to her, will I be rejected?"

I know women like to be told that they are beautiful and all that good stuff. But honestly , it's a two way street (honestly alot of women dont get this). I also would like a woman to let me know how she feels about me. Alot of guys may scoff at this, but deep down, we like to feel as though we are appreciated as well.

As much as a woman likes to be told how much they are appreciated or loved, deep down every man likes to have the feeling of security in a relationship as well.

Sorry about the wall of text...lol...I got on a bit of a stint.
