I DID IT. Finally ordered my passport.

Yup i am going on a trip down south...Dont know where yet but the plans are in the making? Thinking this winter when the cold hits Canada so i can go somewhere warm.

any input?

OHhhh and the most important question...who the heck is coming with me???????????????????

count me in...lol...but you may be onto something here...love to go south but hate the single girl trip thing..might be a blast to go with a bunch of singles

Well where to go? Hmmm don't know what you like but here are some suggestions.

Florida is warm and nice in the winter but very popular with the snowbirds so you could run into your neighbor there.

Louisiana is nice not to hot lots to do New Orleans is a great city with a lot of history and great bars and pubs.

Texas is ok but not really that great. Houston is the city close to the ocean but honestly nothing special.

Arizona dust, desert, but unique in its own way pretty warm too.

California is alright but depends where you want to go. Los Angeles, no thanks. San Francisco is nice has also a lot of history and Alcatraz is a must see!
San Diego is nice small city with ocean view and not to far from the Mexican Border if you want to go across for shopping purposes.

This is just my opinion but everybody prefers something else. But it might help you decide where to go...

i have been to the Grand Canyon, Oregon, Nevada, and California...Hit disneyland last summer.

This trip will be outside the USA. Gotta explore the rest of the world too

If you're really looking for something different I have a friend in South Africa who does outdoor excursions and adventures,wild river rafting,desert crossings,camping,anything and everything.
Some of the pics he sends me are spectacular.

Cool.
Want to hit the Caribean area this time though...Africa and abroad maybe in the future.

south is all good in my world...but south in Jan or Feb even better...dominican has my vote
