Hello to all: Listed below is an article I found in what is suppose to be in your closet. How does your closet measure up - State your opinion.
Rule #3: Stick to the basics. You don’t need a closet full of articles unique to one ensemble. Make it your goal to leave the store with only eight articles of clothing and two pairs of shoes, and be able to make fourteen ensembles, all on under $200.00. Yes, that’s right, under $200.00. Stop palpitating. It is completely possible. Here’s what to look for:
1 Pair of cropped pants- which fall under both the casual and career banners. Use them to your advantage and you’ll free up some space in your closet! 1 Pair of metro shorts- find a stylish and simple pair and they can be used just like your cropped pants on hotter days. 1 Tank top- buy a top with wider straps and this can be worn to the office as well. 1 Button down short sleeve shirt- to be worn over the tank top unbuttoned or without the tank buttoned up. 1 One short sleeve tee- try to find a simple tee that you could wear somewhere nice as well as at home. 1 Dress- Keep this simple! Simple color scheme, simple design, simple cut. Everything else will fall in place. 1 Skirt- You’re looking for a skirt that reaches your knees. Not too long, not too short, and a monochromatic color scheme. Make sure it has a little “flow” to it. You don’t want it too tight. 1 Cardigan- Look for a solid color with minimal frills so that you can wear it over any of your pieces. 2 Sandals- One pair for work with a heel, one pair for fun without a heel. Make sure they match your pieces!
