You said you leave the rest of the pack...I guess I'm confused. Here where I live, they are trying to get a city ordinance passed where the outside ashtrays are removed. They pulled all the ciggy machines years ago...but that still don't stop desperate kids from digging in the outside ashtrays, if they really wanna try it! I realize if they wanna smoke or drink, they'll find a way to do it, but if the temptation isn't there.......

I think that removing outside ashtrays is one hell of a good idea, but they do not do that here. I leave the smokes for the street people for the same reason that I once tossed a bunch of change out of hotel window to a bunch of small children scavenging in an empty lot in Manila. There was a big sheet of tin directly under my window overlooking a boarded up vacant and trash filled lot. When they heard the sound of something hitting the tin, they came on the run. I'll bet they still think that God sent down that money. I got a big kick out of covertly watching them trying to figure it out.
