I've been to a great deal of sites while traveling down this information superhighway, and joinded many different sites, for many different reasons. When you join a site, most of them ask for your email address, but there are also those that ask for your email password as well. I'm just wondering, how many people have infact joined a website where you freely gave them your email password ? I myself refuse to give away that information, I feel if you're just going to hand it out, doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of even having a password ? The only thing I do ask however is, wether or not you've joined a site like that, please do not name the site here, I don't need to know who they are.
I have joined only ONE site that asked for my MSN passowrd. I felt that those who invited me into this site were sincere and so far - the site has done nothing bad. the reason why it asked for passwords was to access my contact list to send out invites.
Hmmm never seen a site that asked for your E-mail password. Sounds like a phishing site to me. Usually you join and make a member name and password. Unless its a site that has an add on to another program. Then look to see if the site is a legitimate site, and only go on if it is.
