Hi, Sunbeam1024. I am about 25-30 minutes from Concord in a little town called Red Cross. If there is anything to do, people from this area go to Concord or Charlotte. I am also a single mom, but my son is 19 and in the Marines now. He is stationed in Jacksonville, NC. I need to meet new people as well. Maybe we can talk sometime and get to know each other. We could go looking for those special guys together!
