chemistry wasn't there so we stayed friends??? if you mean you didn't get all hot and bothered when you met maybe it was because you never tryed any good relationship needs , respect, commitment and compromise
if you go to build a fire you start small and nurse it up hot enough to put a log on it, with a little care that fire will burn a long time and if it was built right even if it is left untended for awhile it will still have spark that can still be nursed back to a flame our forfathers had it right, you found someone decent with the same values as you and you both worked at making it a relationship did they wait to find the right chemistry??? if they had most of us wouldn't have been born did it work for them? most times if they were careing decent people it did were there matches that turned bad? yes there was but they were a small percentage of them is there times when we meet someone and that spark is instantly there? yes there is have i ever met some like that ? yes i did but i was married and didn't follow it up if i had it to do over would i wait for th at spark? probally not i had 35 yrs of marriage and yes we had our ups and downs but in the long run would i pass it up waiting for that instant chemistry? no i wouldn't and if i had it to do over would probally marry the same woman even tho we seperated after 35 yrs
this seems like a long post but i just got tired of seeing so many people waiting for that perfect match we can wait or we can go forward in life building on what we have with respect, care, patience, compromise,(these have to be from both parties) a relationship can be built, will the passion be there? that will depend on if you want it to be or not passion is something that can be encouraged
