Is there anybody besides me who feels that they are being overlooked on this site?
I've been a member for a month now and have yet to be emailed by a girl. I've written everything people need to know about me on my profile and written alot of emails to girls hoping that one of them will respond and not just read the email then ignore it. This is the first and only time I've relied on a dating site to help me meet girls. Since I work alot, I don't have time to go out to bars or anything. So please, if you are female and are looking for a great guy, hit me up.

Tell me about it!! I've been on this site for over 2 YEARS, and still, nothing. I, like you, have also written everything that women need to know about me in my profile.
In the last 3+ years I have been on well over 30 free dating sites, and I'm still alone. I have come to the conclusion that these dating sites are nothing but a total waste of time.frustrated

Well, for you, it's probably because you are too picky. You aren't going to find the perfect person. And perhaps most of the women on dating sites don't meet all of the criteria stated in your profile.

~Greenie & Lonny,

I agree with thesagacontinues......you guys need to 'put yourselves out there' & just start postin.....not all the time, or about just anything, but I've only been here a few weeks & am getting hits from all over the world.....its really about 'availability'.....so dont take rejection personally.....just move on.....but for God sakes, put yourselves out there & start chit-chatting.....you'd be surprised about who may answer & what you may find.....I'd like to see you guys start this Maryland forum rockin, & see if we can get some events scheduled for this area....THEN you'd really start connecting....pop back on & lets give it a shot.....nice job 'saga, keep up the good work applause

Saga,
I was going to let this go, but I'll be damned if I'm going to take any crap from anyone, especially a younger woman.
First of all, flea-bag, I hate younger women, so you don't even matter. What you think means NOTHING. Secondly, there is a name for people that aren't "too picky". It's called being DESPERATE. Checkmate.

Troy,
As for your "hits from all over the world", that's great, congratulations. No offense, but how many of them have you met in-person? None, I bet.
Your suggestion about posting in the forums and putting yourself out there is a good theory, but trust me, it doesn't work. I've tried this many times before on the other sites I've been on. Yes, you'll get responses(good and bad), but it never leads to anything more than wasted time. You can find a few nice women this way, but they are always too far away. It gets old hearing "wish you lived closer". When I used to post in the forums, I got responses from all over the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, etc.(not one of them was anywhere near here). That long-distance crap doesn't work unless you have your own private plane to travel back-and-forth across the country/around the world to see them.
That's why I stopped using the forums. The only reason I'm posting in the forums right now is because when I logged-in, I saw what that that little girl(Saga) had said and realized that she needed to be put in her place.

Oooh. I must have struck a sensitive cord if -that- made you angry. Grow up. I wasn't slamming you, I was trying to help. You didn't have to be rude.

Being overlooked does get old after a while, same thing happen out at bars so no different here, just have to roll with the punches and hope you find someone.
