Your ex is dating your best friend and you still have feelings for your ex? You only broke up as he cheated with another girl and you won't take him back purely on the trust issue. I can't deal with this as I want to see my friend as I miss her company ( i shouldn't though) but also she knows I would never go near her ex boyfriend and so on, but she is more than happy to jump in the sack with my ex. We broke up 6 weeks ago.

I am sorry to hear about your situation. I would be furious if it was my best friend and partner. I know there are many stages to go through once there is a seperation, and these things take time, but if you look at the big picture, you will see they both did you a favour.

I have a rule in which I would never date/shack up with/whatever, any of my friends ex's. I feel it is a case of betrayal to my friend, even if they are ex's. It is my feeling towards it and I don't expect it to be the same train of thought for everyone, but that is me.

Did they first get together after you broke up or before? Either way, I would be really pissed at them.

Going by your post, I assume from what you wrote that you could possibly take him back if you wanted? Could you emotionally cope if you did that? If you told him yes, can you deal with the aftermath again if he did cheat? Now you have your time apart, I would be thinking of all the "what if's" before you jump into anything with him again, assuming that you would that is.

Anon Lady quite frankly your ex sounds like a full on player and been many behind your back and wouldn't be surprised if your so called best friend one of them.

The sooner you get over both of them the better off u will be.

Ummm i just wanted to clarify... that i would be happy for my friends boyfriends (some of them) to come onto me AFTER they had broken up... not before... and with a respectful amount of time afterwards...
