Well, to be honest, 50/50 never was a good idea, and almost always ended in failure.

yes it should be 50-50 for me it works just fine....
its not fair as most of couples are second time around...so commitments to kids take a toll on most wallets...and its only fair all around...well thats what i think...

Please I think we have got the forum wrong I am not speaking about going dutch. Really what I am saying do the ladies want more from a man as in the past ie failed realationships. Where the percentages where 50-50 ?

Men need to quit acting like politicians, trying to find out what a woman wants and then trying to become that ideal man.
Just be a man, do the right thing, have good character, good morals, and good hygiene. I think a real lady will appreciate us a lot more if we can be real men. So men, we have to give 100 % all the time, what she gives is up to her. It works best when both are committed to giving 100%.
