In a brief conversation, between a man/woman,
this question was posed:

"What kind of a woman/man are you looking for?"

The 2 sat quietly for a moment before looking each other in the eye and asking.
"Do you really want to know?"

Reluctantly, he/she said, "Yes."
She/he began to expound...

"As a man/woman in this day and age,
I'm in a position to ask a man/woman what he/she can do for me that I can't do for myself.
I pay my own bills. I take care of my household without the help of any 'earthly' man/woman.

I'm in the position to ask, "What can you bring to the table?"

The man/woman looked at each other.
Clearly, he/she thought that he/she was referring to money.

She/he quickly corrected his/her thought and stated,
"I'm not referring to money. I need something more."
"I need a man/woman who is striving for perfection in every aspect of life."

He/she sat back in their chair, folded his/her arms, and asked her/him to explain.

She/he said, "I'm looking for someone who is striving for perfection mentally....
because I need conversation and mental stimulation.
I don't need a simple-minded man/woman."

"I'm looking for someone who is striving for perfection spiritually...

because I don't need to be unequally yoked...
believers mixed with unbelievers is a recipe for disaster.

I need a man/woman who is striving for perfection financially...
because I do not need a financial burden.
I'm looking for someone who is sensitive enough to understand what I go through as a woman/man,
but strong enough to keep me grounded.

I'm looking for someone who I can respect.
In order to be submissive, I must respect him/her.
I cannot be submissive to a man/woman who is not taking care of his/her business.
I have no problem being submissive...he/she just has to be worthy.
God made woman to be a helpmate for man.
I can't help a man if he can't help himself."

When she/he finished her/his spill, she/he looked at him/her.

He/she sat there with a puzzled look on his/her face.
He/she said, "You're asking a lot."
She/he replied, "I'm worth a lot."
