Ruler of the moon and stars
I call upon thee for your
guidance
Hear my cries in the darkness of night
Fell the love I love to set free upon her
Know all the goodness I have in my
heart and guide it
Grant me the power to love her without hurting her
Lend me the strength to overcome
my fear of her
Shine your light upon us
Therefore we might keep the faith
Let your stars point the way
to a long happy life for us
Let your moon steal all the
hurt i caused her
She is my life and will always
remain in my heart

We seem to always look for tomorrow
never really thinking about today.
Brighter days will come yet it is
too far away to reach.
Not caring that choices we make
today might not bring us a tomorrow.
Just how far out of reach is brighter days
when we live in a world so unsafe.
Walk out your door and get shot for
wearing the wrong color.
