Anyone have any funny stories you either remember, or your parents told you about yourself when you were a kid?
I'll start off with one that my Mom told me about.
You know how when a kid is being quiet then they are probably up to something? Well, one day my Mom was cooking dinner in the kitchen, and I was downstairs in the basement supposedly playing with my legos. I was about 4 years old at the time. She didn't hear anything for a while, so she came to the top of the basement stairs and called out my name. To her surprise, I came walking to the bottom of the stairs with an open can of beer in my hand! She said "Danny, what are you doing?".... and I said "I'm working like my Dad!"
My father was in the Royal Navy and when I was six he went from being a rating to becoming a Naval officer, so in a very loud serious voice on the bus, I demanded to know if this meant that he inspected peoples belly buttons...I was quite a bright kid
