Cricket was quite popular in this country until the turn of the last century. Benjamin Franklin was, by all accounts, a keen player. I think burning down the White House didn't do much for cricket's popularity in America!

haha well from my point of view i reckon i could market cricket to America, Im thinking demolish the white house build a nice stadium instead and like Americans will wanna come just to stand on the old white house patch i will keep a few white bricks so the fans can touch them for $10 a touch , you didnt go to chartehouse for nothing so im sure a new stadium the best in the world is on the cards here and ok it wont be Lords but you know the end of the day we not burning down the white house just demolishing the eye sore and they can build the new white house in Alaska
