CAN we create our personality or are we born a certain way and we have no choice?... ( Archived) (3)

I Believe and know we can create the person we want to be, every single day we make decisions that make us into who we are today. BUT with that said, we can create in our mind the person we want to be and daily make desicions and begin to ACT out that person and we will become it.

I know our enviroment and the people we surround ourself with play a role in our personality, but we can change most areas by creating in our mind a vision of our future, create who we want to be ...by acting out this person..truly we create our personality, whether conciously or by letting our surroundings create it for us.

I have heard of many actors that have played a role for many years and after playing that role for a long time they began to think even as the role they played....On Star Trek ...Spoc said this...that he was a different peson before he played this role but after he played his role as Spoc, he in his own personal life began to act like "SPOC" and even think like he acted on the show ...

I think acting like the person you want to be of course you can become that person...It's habit...behaviour modification...suddenly one day you won't have to act...it will become totally natural!!!!!!!

That being said...there are certain genetic traits and behaviours that unless they become conscious can't be changed....I have heard the saying speak life and you shall have in life what you speak...Well this is live and act life in order to become the person who you want to be!!!!!!!!
