There are times in life
when all seems to roll away
out of control
and you cry at the end of the day
Times when life seems to have you beaten
pounding you back to the ropes
I know this because
There was a time When I'd lost all hopes
But i am back!
And here to say
I'm better than ever
Because i did not give up that day.
i'm better, stronger, faster
bionic if you will
a man of iron
who can , no matter how steep, climb any hill
I've been to Hell and back again
with beaten body, battered hands
shattered heart and soul
but now fighting back hard
living happy my goal
I've gone the distance,
heard the final bell
the fifteenth round ends
and I'm still ready to fight like hell.
Sadness, depression, a painful divorce tried to beat me
I've been to a darkened place
scared, but put one foot down and then another
and quickened the pace
whatever does not kill you makes you stonger
so true my friends
don't ever give up
and win in the end!
