Help! How can I safely clean adhesive off of a disk? The peel and stick strip came off the envelope that a dvd was in, and there's paper and glue stuck to it. I tried alcohol, did nothing. I know nail polish remover or lighter fluid will get the glue off, but will it hurt it?

Lighter fluid will work but you will have to lightly wash with soap and water afterwards. I suggest putting the lighter fluid on a rag and wiping it.

laugh Toothpaste actually works, I've got an old DVD that's two-sided and scratched like heck, toothpaste came to the rescue.

Another spiffy pointer about CDs and Single-Sided DVDs, is that the label-side is the side one needs to be careful - that's where the data is, scratches on the read-side are manageable, but if the label side gets even one, the data is lost forever from that specific disc

I just finished Bourne Ultimatum. It was great! I'm going to do something I hardly ever do, watch all the extra stuff, deleted scenes, how it was made, etc. Then I'm gonna watch it again. I think I'm falling in love with Matt Damon. love blushing
