Now that I’m bouncing back and getting out of this funk I have been in, I have posted more today about church tech than I have at all recently. In an effort to bring some balance, this is my post of what Jim needs.
Recently, I have seen it said that you should type your name in Google, with needs and see what you get, so in my case, I typed in “Jim needs” (with quotes). Here is the list:
* Jim needs a kidney
* Jim needs to know what to do to beef up his resume
* Jim needs to get ahold of you
* Jim needs to ask better questions
* Jim needs to use a few targeted bullets that answer the questions
* Jim needs something very urgently
* Jim needs to know about it
* Jim needs some help
* Jim needs to develop sound values for decision making
* Jim needs to complete the setup by going into the ODBC configuration program
The winner of what Jim needs is (drum roll please!):
* Jim needs to make sure that there is enough ice and soda to serve the 80000 screaming fans
Honestly, if I have 80000 screaming fans, I’ll make sure there’s enough ice and soda, but not until I see proof of that many fans. The way it stands now, I’ve got enough ice and soda (pop, actually) for about 10 of you, but that’s probably pushing it.
By the way, to increase the fun, I brought my wife into this also and her number one item that Mary needs is (this is so obvious):
