Hi ghost,

You will need a 'S video" out connection and cable from your computer or laptop to connect the computer to the digital projector.

Once you have connected them together it should automatically find the connection and display your file direct to the projector.

Well that is how it works on my Mac, I think that a PC computer or laptop would be much the same.

Hope this helps a little.

Have a look at this site, this may help.

Ciao

Hi ghost.

If your PC has a video card that will take the S video connection then you may not require any further software as the computer should identify the video link and accept it as if it were a second screen.

Hey 007!

If I get I right you want to show videos to an auditorium where no connection to Internet possible, correct?

May I know the reason you do not want to use Power Point? Much as I agree MS sucks its pretty easy and reliable. Anyway your choice.
To save videos you need to go here and follow the instruction or here
Once you have videos saved to your laptop and players installed, connect to projector. It will show anything you like as long as it is playing on the laptop.

Good luck.

PS If you want to make a smooth presentation with few videos and pics then you you better go here and get it in, say, in divx format. This way you would be able to incorporate vids into a presentation program of your choice and spare the audience interruptions between vids.
