I suppose it's part of the learning process and our stubborness as humans. The "old nature" says 'I'd rather do it myself'. God is not controlling so He allows us to go ahead and make a mess, so we can once again cry out for "HELP".
I am so glad He is patient and always there to lend His hand and clean up the mess. Such a great DAD He is!!!!!

#1 He takes you out of the world (taking us to a place where He can work with us, like Paul in the desert Galatians 1:12)
#2 He takes the world out of you (1 Corinthians 10:21)
#3 And after He has set us apart and washed us (1 Corinthians 6:11) and we have given ourselves wholly to Him (2Timoty 2:19), then He send us back into the world (Luke 10:2, John 20:21)
The most common mistake made by His children is to go out before we have completed #2, or to go out before #3. Many of us fall because we forget it is God who sends us out.
