Things are getting busy
Digging hole here every week
The dead have started rising
The angles playing hide and seek

People place flowers upon the graveside
To see them fade away
And the wishing well is empty
And I’m not going to pay

And change is always changing
As change can’t remain the same
And when the changes happen
The reason gets the blame
But do you need a reason
For what is going on
Or just take the change that’s coming
When the changes come along.

I met the Devil yesterday
He came shopping for a soul
The congregation noticed him
And asked him not to go

He was waiting for an accident
On highway 58
But the drivers caught in traffic
Which makes him two hours late

And change is always changing
As change can’t remain the same
And when the changes happen
The reason gets the blame
But do you need a reason
For what is going on
Or just take the change that’s coming
When the changes come along.

Well the sinners started sinning
And the righteous said there right
While the liberals had mixed blessings
And the atheists took the fight

And the dead continue rising
And still need a place to stay
While the driver in the Traffic
Met his fate that day

And change is always changing
As change can’t remain the same
And when the changes happen
The reason gets the blame
But do you need a reason
For what is going on
Or just take the change that’s coming
When the changes come along.
