I find that it can be a little difficult in the early days to know whether the other person is interested.
Possibly both to Blame as neither wants to end up embarrassed.......

Sometimes Kitten its a tough call for guys.
Even if they really like you they might not express it for fear of coming on too strong and scaring you off so they put up a very nonchalant front as if they are not bothered either way which unfortunatly is as counterproductive as their first fear.

Definitely the best solution! Us men like direct questions, and as another thread said, we can't take hints-subtle or otherwise! I'd prefer to be asked if it were me!

not all men are afrad to show there emotion. i can only speak for myself on this, one thing you gotta ask yoursev is do you like the guy, intereted is one thing to like you is another meaning altogeter,

All fellows can be poor at expressing feelings or emotions.
But it seems you fall for the nice guys.
These fellows are hopeless at showing INTEREST, as they are afraid of offending or they dont want to run the risk of losing your friendship.
I know because Im one of them.
So as a workable rule, presume the bloke is stupid.
Understand that he might not understand your gestures and subtle offerings. Ask him some questions.

A straight question will likely get a straight answer.

In the past I've walked away from fella's thinking that they couldn't be bothered being with me but later find out that they were actually really interested...(of course always finding out to late)
Is it me being insecure or is it men just simply don't show as much emotion as woman????
