opinion needed...... (5)

hi this is my first time postin..

id love to have yer opinion on something..

....was out havin a few beers wit some friends and ended up chatting to a blonde girl - was sober and havin a bit f craic - all was grand until i told her i hung off the back of a garbage truck and drove a mopehead - ya should see her jaw drop - she started kicking her friend to save her - so funny :)(im actually a cop and drive a slightly different (better :) vehicle... but what matter..... :)

k.. was she right (..and keep in mind, its only my word that i was being natural and not creepy or stupid ect...)

all being equal, if u wer chattin to me (in this senario) wud u hav behaved the same ??????????

Agree with ya Emer. The only thing to put me off would be rudeness. Dont know whether I'd hang around for someonene opinionated or arrogant either. I think that girl obviously had an opinion of herself. Was willing to talk until told what spaceshuttle supposedly did for a living.

...i actually found it quite funny.. i suppose the reason i brought this up here is cos i went out with a girl for two years and i met her in this same senario ..acutally i also told her i couldnt read and never left the same one horse town where i lived cos i didnt hav a passport and would be deported out f dublin.. she liked me for who i was and hung around anyway.. that way i knew she was genuine..

not sure if i have a point to all this ranting :) maybe its that i dont blame that girl last nite, she was normal enough had standards i suppose, i guess it proves the importance of status - and her lack of s sense of humor :)

im going to continue my "social experiment" undetered - sur i coulid always summons em if they get rude ha..

LOL its her loss!! and her problem for being so judgmental..I can't imagine she would be much fun anyway... its not like u were proposing marriage and she was looking forward to a life long diet of beans and chips and holidays in Tallaght :o)

Don't change urself or lose ur sense of humour for someone who is clearly shallow and looking for a free ride

If it were me, I probably would have been a little taken aback initially, but then I would have just pulled myself together, and asked what model of moped, and what do u think of the bin charges :o)
