i heard that the pipe player on the old album of marillion was an Irish lad from Dublin. Tradition still very much alive so.
interestin... at concert last week of a local composer musician..... gerard fahy... has a web site.... he plays the uileen pipes ... fantasic sound.... and some interesting modern twists to celtic music... you might enjoy.... i did
great put the video up, I tried to boost local talent but they keep taking most of my posts and video's off. I guess it is all american, but try anyways.
