readyornot0: 50 gms beef suet to 100gms plain flour good pinch of salt cold water to bind it all together dont soak it make it into balls and drop them into the stew simmer for twenty metric minutes or irish , then serve . same mix can be chilled rolled out use to line a pudding dish fill with steak and kidney i like mine with black pud and mushrooms added top withe the mix put into a pan of water and simmer for a couple of hours . good luck
right first on the list, I think the dumplings were brilliant, they were a bit more solid than cooked for me, that could be me and my big hands, I sort of squashed them a bit too much I think. I am definately going to make these again in NZ for my family or the lads
