frustrated Can someone please let me know the the big deal about a man and his finaces, I understand that to have money is nice and all but financial stability is not permanent, and if stability is what you are in search of, stability of the finances is a part of the equations. Financial stability is a paradox or maybe even better it is an oxymoron! someone give me the 411 what am I missing, or is financial stability another way of saying you want a man with a lot of money, that's the only stability I could see is if you have a lucrative amount of "financial stability"

I think most women just look for the stability of making sure the bills are paid, there's food on the table and a roof over her head by the end of every month.

And if there are a few pennies left over well then she can save for that special thing.

It's not about having the biggest diamond ring, or the best designer labels - that doesn't prove your love for anyone.

Financial stability gives a feeling of comfort and safety which, after all, is what most women are searching for in their own lives as well as their dream man.

Hope this helps

wink

Anyone that puts any weight into finances has never someone that lost everything.

Or have grandparents that lived through the depression.

Or better yet, has never had to work for anything cause Mom and Pop foots the bill.

In all cases, there's a serious character flaw there that will spill over into other areas besides finances.

Useless flesh as far as I'm concerned.

I'm not sure I even know what financial stability is. Even millionaires go broke.. I think it has more to do with how you live your life. I know lots of people who don't make a lot of money and they seem to do just fine..

Just because someone caught a rich one, it surely does not mean it will stay that way...cool

professor I can understand what you are syaing but, in the same token it goes back to would you rather have a good man who really doesn't have a lot of money or a fowl sort of rich man. I believe that now a days it isn't about charater it's about money, "what can I get from you", I guess people as a whole are just slef centered and only what is in their best interest. Thanx for your response

blushing kiss Windygirl I am so happy to know that we still have real women in the world who overstand what is important. I mean let's be honest there isn't a man walking this planet that, if he had the means wouldn't buy his woman the world (if she deserves it), I think we need to analyze what we truly hold sacred. I'm not saying that money doesn't have it's significance in a relationship but it shouldn't be a stipulation as to wheter or not you would be with someone, people you could be short changing yourself, out of happiness. The most powerful statment any woman ever said to me was that if her and her man can't struggle together what's the point in being together unfortunately she was my friends ex so...... You know that was dead..

Thanx for your response

sorry about the sarcasm...

but, yuh, what they said...

having been poor, then homelss, and lost everything.. money does put a new light on things.. food, shelter...

sometimes we have to fight. sometimes we learn hard, and it's a harder road to freedom...

letting go of stuff, and waht we hang onto as "important" is even harder...

money is necesary. but, not they way we live...

good point, laurie...

not everyone that helps out wants or needs to feel the media pat on the back... shouldn't be a payoff, or publicity stunt

Financial stability is simply having your income be less than your spending.

I'm currently financially stable because I don’t spend more than I make.

So let's say that I tell a woman that I'm financially stable.

She moves in with me.

Start making outrageous phone bills, gas bills, and credit card bills that I can pay!

All of a sudden I'm no longer financially stable!

Then she'll claim that I lied about being financially stable. rolling on the floor laughing

I avoid that problem by keeping my girlfriends tied up naked in my garage where they can't make bills.

Rope's cheap. cheers

professor That is true not everyone needs the spotlight but we aren't talking about everyday people we're talking about celebrities, and they thrive off of attention so if they did they would have wanted someone to know how philanthropic they are being.
