RE: What to consider in traveling abroad?

Hi,

I traveled a lot. Honestly, it is hard to say where to go. In Asia there are many nice places where you can enjoy it. It mainly depends in you, and what you have in mind. For instance, the one is looking for girls cannot be like another is looking for nature or other thing. However, from my experience, I can say Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines & Thailand are almost similar in many things. Japan is surely different. I wish you nice time where ever you go.

Enjoy it.

RE: China

not really planning, but was invited by a Chinese friend teaching in our place. She can speak English and Thai so there isn't any problem about the language. She told me that I could get a cheaper air ticket if i will reserved it 1 or 2 months before the trip an..d we're planning to go in October. She is from something like Guandong Province, not really sure..

Is anyone planning to visit China this year?

Which places will u visit and do u worry about language problems?

RE: What to consider in traveling abroad?

You could also travel to a country in Africa, America, Australia or Europe.

When travelling abroad, I do consider the climate, budget and how far it is away.

Malaysia and Singapore are also nice to visit.

RE: I'm not Asian, but love Asians and Asian countries

You could still go to Burger King or Pizza Hut dunno

I'm not Asian, but love Asians and Asian countries

ugh,- I think I dont know what I would do if I lived in a country where most ready dishes sold are hot/spicy!!

There are only so many times you can eat the same fried noodles and not get really tired of them..frustrated

But I guess you have more choice where you are,.. here the thai restaurants all copy each other and the non-hot choices are always the same.. crying

I often wonder if I have a chili allergy, as I can eat spicy if its black pepper, or ginger without any problem!!

RE: Eating meat from wild animals.

Good for you,- and the animals..

I think in all sourcing for meat, we have to be more and more considerate about how we affect the animal kingdom, or the animals themselves..

Especially rainforests are getting smaller and smaller everywhere, and the natural balance within them is getting more and more fragile. So it becomes more and more important to keep the residing animals present,- because if one goes extinct, another gets out of control, and the whole eco-system can collapse.

Especially in asia too, there is much more eco tourism too now, which will be a great source of income, if tourists dont get put off by scary illegal hunters.

RE: What to consider in traveling abroad?

Well, I have lived in Japan.. I can tell you about there if you like.. wave

What to consider in traveling abroad?

Me myself has never been to far away places especially out of the border. I've been to the Philippines anyway. My next stop is still unknown because I don't have enough info yet....Maybe Japan, China or South Korea...

Eating meat from wild animals.

It's been popular maybe not everywhere, but in some countries especially in Asia. I had lived in a place near a big range of jungles and forest. I met people hunting wild animals to make huge amount of money and they know that it is illegal, but they are not afraid anyway. I do like eating meat from wild animals, but I'm trying to stop now because many wild animals are getting extinct especially the tigers...

RE: I'm not Asian, but love Asians and Asian countries

yeah that's pretty funny. Actually not all Thai people eat spicy foods though and that includes me and the very few...If I don't have any options that's the time I have to eat them especially when going out with the people who love hot'spicy foods a lot.
GreenTassels

Oh! I am surprised! I thought all Thai people loved spicy/hot food!

I cook my thai recipes without chilli for myselfwow and add warmed chilli to the sauces of my guests, because I cannot handle the chilli... a bit funny really.. laugh
