I have noticed that many non-Indians have multiple wrong ideas about India and Indians. It’s time to revive. "We owe a lot to the Indians, who taught us how to count, without which no worthwhile scientific discovery could have been made." ......... Albert Einstein. "India is the cradle of the human race, the birthplace of human speech, the mother of history, the grandmother of legend and the... read more

Unity in Diversity

I am sure that, India is the only country in the world which consists of different languages, religions, caste systems, rituals, etc.. which makes the country a great country.Since i have visited several times, i still find it facinating, delightful and memorial.I love India and it is great.

RE: Why the indians are not united?

2 more questions…
Why the world knows Mother Teresa but not sister Nivedita?

Why Kolkata is ‘City Of Joy’ by Dominic Lapierre? I don’t mean the writing but I mean the opportunity of creation of the film!

RE: Why the indians are not united?

You are absolutely right!head banger

But a few questions are bothering me a lot…

1. Why we still need a foreigner woman (who even read HINDI in Italian script) to play puppet show with our prime minister to rule us? Why a century old party can not get an Indian to preside?
2. Why Indian daughter-in-law gets defeated with foreigner daughter-in-law in public election?
3. Why we are thinking about a young novice chap (son of that foreigner) to be our future PM? Is the reason he has fair skin than us? Or he belongs in the royal ruler dynasty?

Another slight different question…

4. Why Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose remains as ‘forgotten hero’ but Gandhi’s picture is imprinted in Indian currency whereas PM of England Late Clement Atlee commented with a trifling attitude that Gandhi’s contribution towards wining independence was “Mi-ni-mal”! But Atlee confirmed also that for several movements of Subhas they decided to leave India. Why Subhas Chandra’s birthday is not recognized in all India but that Gandhi’s birthday is a national holiday (2nd Oct) who commented about Subhas that Subhas was the spoiled child of Congress family.

I also have so many confusing questions! I don’t know will get those answers or not! confused sigh

Why the indians are not united?

Haven't u learnt from our past ,then why are u repeating the history and letting the other ride on us? dunnojust keep one thought that we are all one, and we are not hungry of awards by them.Because they firstly grant award to one and torture few other, and make the awardee to stand quite and watching.

Proud to be Indian

In this whole universe God is present everywhere in every creature animals, birds, trees etc name anything God is present but only two things where God is not present. The person who does not remember God or either u can say does not thanks him God is not available in his mind & heart. Although God is there but that person has made him unavailable by forgetting him. There is friendship or relationship all depends when u remember them but when u don't remember there can't be any relation.isn't it.Same way with God. He is really very close to us but for that we have to thank him for giving such a nice body with pure soul & Love. Love is another name of God. So, please flow ur love to every creature & thank God in every situation.
