Let me first still wish you all a HAPPY EASTER, if it is not too late yet.

We in South Africa are in a very messy situation at this very moment - well it all actually started off since the ANC government is in power.
They though electricity is here for everyone to (just) use and one just would have to connect up . . .
Now somewhat 16 years later lot's of problems are eminent, as SHORTAGE of ELECTRIC POWER and the continuously rising costs, as well as LOAD SHEDDING (Power Switch OFFs) have occurred and will come back, if they do not get their World Bank Loan!
Mismanagement and corruption are on the order of the day, as is the illegal connection (and usage) of electricity.
As they want the money to build a COAL Power Station tariffs have already been increased steeply and more are to follow.
As these COAL Power Stations are also POLLUTING the world even further I would urge you all to join VOTING NO for this loan!!

We have plenty of RENEWABLE RESOURCES that could be tapped, but ESKOM does not want to give up it's MONOPOLY in Power Generation by switching to alternative and RENEWABLE and FREE energy resources.
(Hydro/Water, Sun, Wind and Wave, ...)


Thus, if you are also interested to say your say Vote "NO" - and sign the petition for the "Say no to Eskom! PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION" or "World Bank considers Billions for dirty coal in South Africa" or "ESKOM loan from the World Bank".
