I am new to the group and I wish to hear about the thoughts and knowledge on this matter. I have always loved and felt an affinity with animals as my father who passed from this world, and my sons and daughter do now. A few years ago I was sitting in a park on a short wall next to Lake Michigan in Chicago on a bright sun-lit day. There were other people sitting and reading within 20 feet of me, when all at once a flock of about 30 small birds came and sat around me. Without moving, I glanced around and saw that there were no grass clippings, seeds, or any other food for the birds. One little bird came up within an inch of my
hand and I smiled and vibrated a "thank you." In about two minutes they flew away, and my eyes were filled with tears.
Any ideas on my experience, anyone?

Hello....I too had this experience with birds twice. I was sitting in my chair after work one summer evening 2 yrs ago, and a baby bird, with a tusk of hair, came right up to me and nodded to me and left. The next morning, about 6 a.m. while getting my tea, I heard a tap on my door, I looked out my window and there the bird was again tapping at my door with his/her beak. I went to get some bread then went to the door and the bird was gone. I looked everywhere for that bird, but no where in sight. He/she came to me because I was feeling down those 2 days. Spirits come to us in many forms that we can relate to. I, too, am an animal lover, so therefore, that is the form it took.

I do believe and have been touched in many ways by the spirit world.
