High Fidelity and Grosse Point Blank Movie (1997)
Martin Blank is a professional assassin. He is sent on a mission to a small Detroit suburb, Grosse Pointe, and, by coincidence, his ten-year high school reunion party is taking place there at the same time.
Martin Blank is a freelance hitman who starts to develop a conscience, which causes him to muff a couple of routine assignments. On the advice of his secretary and his psychiatrist, he attends his 10th year High School reunion in Grosse Pointe, Michigan (a Detroit suburb where he's also contracted to kill someone). Hot on his tail are a couple of over-enthusiastic federal agents, another assassin who wants to kill him, and Grocer, an assassin who wants him to join an "Assassin's Union."

I LOVE John Cusack movies. His characters are usually over analytical, charming, high strung, witty, insecure and lovable rolled up in one. He references many of his own personal favorite music, movies and books in his movies. Either by playing the songs, mentioning the artists, wearing band or Chicago baseball team clothing and bumper stickers. He also tends to work with many of the same people throughout the yrs. the little boy in Martian Child was in Must Love Dogs. His manager in Martian Child was in Ice Harvest. And his sister Joan has been in 10+ movies. He is also very passionate about his political views. he co-wrote and produced the movie War, Inc.
