Do you like to play chess? Whether you do or you don't you will enjoy this story. It is a mini series on Netflix called The Queen's Gambit. It is about an orphan Elizabeth Harmon who learns how to play chess while in an orphanage at a very young age. When she gets older she plays in chess games against the best Russian players. It is amazing the lengths she goes to outsmart other players. Through every episode she deals with her traumatic childhood, her addictions and her craving to beat the Grandmaster Russian chess player. I don't know anything about chess but the story of this young girl and how she got to the Championship game is fascinating.
