down-to-earth comedy series about a small rural canadian town and some of the people who live there. all the characters have their quirks that can't help but to endear them to the audience. lighthearted humour. one of the most successful shows in canadian tv. ran from 2004 to 2009. a movie and animated series were also created. i can't attest to either having not seen them. reminds me of the tv series, northern exposure. another favourite of mine.
