The Equalizer 3, is the third and final film in The Equalizer trilogy, starring Denzel Washington.

This film continues the life story of Robert McCall (Denzel Washington), a former DIA agent who retired and turned into The Equalizer. He received this nickname because he likes helping less fortunate people get justice.
He became a hunter for justice by eliminating criminals wherever he lived.
In this last film, Robert moves to live in Italy, but not as he dreamed, the calm turns out to be back, he has to meet and deal with the Italian mafia.

Good action film

Great movie where an assassin finally reconciles with his violent past while falling in love with a people he feels at home with and comfortable with and protective of. Interesting for me the story place in Sicily is near where my paternal grandmother is from and his new home in Italy is where my maternal grandparents are from.

Thanks to Roberto I can see the front face of the beautiful Italian landscape, with rural houses located in the beautiful hills of Sicily, Campania and Naples.

Unfortunat they didn't shoot the film in the Altamonte location which is actually one of the most beautiful villages in the world.
The peoples of the southern part are also friendly and welcoming, it's no wonder RM decided to live there, and ended his adventure as the Equalizer.

The opening scene of this movie showing a Eastern looking aerial view of Mt Vesuvius grabbed my attention. I took a photo with the same view (but on the ground) when I once visited family still living there, and elsewhere in Italy and Sicily.
