in memory of Gordon, who passed away may 1, 2023 at the age of 84. he was one of Canada's greatest singer-songwriters known the world over. he was credited with helping define folk-pop in the 60s & 70s. in a touching tribute, the mariners' church chimed its bells in his honour. this song was based on the sinking of the edmund fitzgerald.
