Simply one of the best Heavy Metal records ever. Ronnie James Dio's debut with legendary band Black Sabbath, he clearly showed he had more than what it took to replace Ozzy Osbourne as lead singer and frontman. Ronnie, who sadly died last year, not only had a beautifull voice, he had heart, and he put a lot of heart in this record. With songs like Heaven and Hell, Country Girl, Lonely is the Word, the band managed to create a great atmosphere that was rarely equaled by any other band. The guitar is slow and heavy, with a lot of groove, the bass is very melodic, the drums are just perfect, and Ronnie's voice is a delicious icing to the cake. Dio may have died last year, he will always stay alive through his music and the hearts of all of the people that he has touched with his music, and this album in particular.
