Kevin Gilbert was an American singer / songwriter / producer and multi instrumentalist, born in in november 1966, he died aged 29 in may 1996...
One of the greatest losses to popular and progressive music...
Kevin was touted to be the replacement vocalist for "Genesis" upon Phil Collins's departure...
One can only imagine where he would have taken the band to had he lived to get the gig...
There are many fine albums to check out by KG, I would myself have put up "Shaming of the true", had it been available on Amazon...but in its abscence, "Thud" is a perfect example of Kevins musical and lyrical brilliance...
I hope you enjoy this enough to check out further work by this intellegent and articulate musician...
